Prediction #3: Singles Day will gain momentum in Canada.

Singles Day (November 11) will gain momentum in Canada from a base of 5% participation in 2018.  New in 2019 is the co-opting of this Day from Alibaba by mainstream brands, such as Ted Baker. We projected 8% of Canadians shopped this day.  Singles Day was developed by Asian online behemoth, Alibaba. It has become the largest single day of retail sales globally.
